PHAR LAP OUTCLASSED.
WORLD'S TINIEST RACEHORSE. The world's tiniest racehorse, dainty wee pet, 23Jin high, weighing 361b. A perfect miniattire racehorse, the site of a dog, wilj be on exhibition at the Auckland Show. It is perfect in every detail. His sire and dam are ordinary size racehorses, the dam being 15J hands high. His name is "Wee Jimmy," and he comes from Buenos Ayres (South America). If you were to see it you would wonder how two perfectly ordinary thoroughbred parents could breed so minute a horse. It is nothing less than marvellous. He is carriel on the railways at a dog's rate, and travels in a soap box. In order to satisfy his dainty appetite, his feed costs on the average 2/ per week. Shoes are not made "ready to wear" for '"Jimmy's" minute size. "Jimmy's" shoes are made of solid gold —so delicate have they to be—and when he needs a new pair he is motored to the leading jeweller, who weighs out Boz of pure gold to make the shoes to fit his dainty hoofs, which are the size of a half-crown.— (Ad.)
