Keels of Two British Giants Laid at Once. EARLIEST POSSIBLE BUILDING British Official Wireless. (Received 2.30 p.m.) RUGBY, January 1. The keel of the new battleship King George V. was laid at Vickers-Arm-strongs yard to-day, while that of the Prince of Wales was laid at Cammell, Laird's yard at' Birkenhead. Both vessels will be of 35,000 tons. They are being built at the earliest possible moment after expiration of current treaties. At least two more, probably identical with the King George V. and the Prince of Walec, will be started in 1937. Tenders are to be invited shjrtly.
