DOMINION'S REQUIREMENTS.
BRITISH EXPERT'S REPORT. (By Telegraph.—X'ress Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A preliminary report 011 the requirements of New Zealand from the point of view of air defence has been submitted to the Government by Wing Commander the Hon. R. A. Cochrane, A.F.C., who was sent to New Zealand to advise 011 defence problems. The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. M. J. Savage, said to-day that a report had been referred to a- special-Cabinet committee which would confer with Wing Commander Cochrane, and discuss details. Questions of policy arising from the report would also receive the consideration of the committee.
