MR. G. M. CURRIE'S STUD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) ; WANGANUI, Monday. Within the next few days Motley is expected to foal to the defunct Liniond, and this will be the last of that sire's progeny. The latest foalings reported at Koatanui include Miss Thespian, who has a bay colt to Liniond, the newcomer thus being a half-brother to Chief Ranger. Another Thespian mare in Genesta has a bay colt to the Desmond horse. As Damans, the dam of Genesta, is herself a daughter of Liniond and Pennon (Coriander— Eulogy), an interesting cross is made. One of the Limond fillies is a bay from Homage, dam of those brilliant gallopers Episode. Honour and Heritage. The other filly to this sire is from Aepic, dam ot Aspian and Icing. A filly by Posterity—Burnish, one by Ringmaster—lnlaid, and a foal to Ringmaster out of Anklet, have also made their appearance.
