MUNGATOON GOES WELL. FEI-MAH ALSO PLEASES. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") TE AROHA, this day. The gallops this morning were on the course proper, on which the flags were out 50ft. Black Musk, Libra and Lucy Lu were allotted serviceable work. Mungatoon (Preston), Mazir (Carmont) and King Musk (Keesing) were associated over seven furlongs. Mungatoon made play for three furlongs, and was then joined by Mazir. Finishing fast, Mungatoon prevailed by a long neck, with King Musk a length back, in 1.32 1-5. Mazir, who is not showing the slightest signs of any tenderness, is to be ridden in the Mitchelson Cup by R. McTavisli. Gay Rose worked solidly over a round. Impasto skipped over three furlongs in 40 2-5s Fei-Mah (McGuire), Mungacre (Preston), and Golden Sheila (Keesing) jumped off at the five-furlong post, the first-named scoring by half a length from Mungacre, with Golden Sheila the same distance away, in 1.4 1-5. Solaria went freely over five furlonjrs in 1.4 4-5.
