ALLIANCE WITH EGYPT. British Official Wireless. (Received 2 p.m.) RUGBY, September 1. Before leaving London with the remaining members of the Egyptian delegation, Nalias Pasha made a statement on the new treaty with Britain which he said he was convinced would be of the greatest benefit to the peoples of both countries. The alliance had moral, social and economic importance for Britain and Egypt. He expressed the thanks of the delegation for the welcome accorded them in England.
