HARMONY GROUP.

MUSIC AND DRAMA.

A programme of outstanding merit was presented at the Harmony Group musicale held in the Fabian Club rooms on Monday night. Mr. Chambers occupied the chair. Vocal solos were presented by Madame Veta Cornwall, Miss Meryl Harvey, Mr. Stuart Harvey and Mr. Herbert Natzke; a duet (in costume) from "Madame Butterfly," by Miss Winifred Hill and Miss Beryl Smith; elocutionary items, by Mrs. Wallace Smith and Miss Patricia Buckmaster, and magic by "Nirab." Two sketches added interest to the programme, a humorous one given by the Avon Circle and a dramatic one entitled "The Spies" by the Greenliithe Dramatic Society, the players in the latter being Miss Crozier, Miss Irwin, Mrs. McCallum and Mrs. Sexton. The accompanists were Mrs. Harvey and Mr. Alan Pow. Music for the ensuing dance was provided by Madame Dunn. Supper was arranged by committee members, Miss Phyllis Gribbin, Mrs. R. A. Kiddey and Mrs. G. G. Chambers.
