DAMAGE IN TARANAKI.

POWER. XiINE SEVERED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The rain showers were interspersed with snow and hail. All streams are running high. Five inches of snow fell at Manganui Hut. There was no climbing yesterday from the North Egmont Hostel, where rain and hail were experienced practically all day.
