SHOPPING HOURS.

Grocers at Otahuhu and Pukekohe should be congratulated 011 the sensible hours thev have adopted for their trade. The grocer's shop is the one that is most needed to open before other shops, as it saves niaiiy mothers a journey when they can send their children a message before going to 1 school. When the daylight saving starts I am sure the assistants would rather have the half-hour off at night and start earlier. Why not have the same hours as the Otahuhu grocers, which would meet with the approval of all sensible people, especially the mother of a large family— picture her trying to get father and big brother away to work and children off to school at the same time. EARLY HOURS.
