BIRTHDAY PARTY.

A coming of age party was celebrated at the Broadway Lounge, Papakura, oil Saturday evening, when Mr. E. (Snowy) Coeeey, of Drury, was the guest of honour. A very enjoyable time was spent dancing, Miss Ailsa Cartwright supplying the dance music. Mr. Cossey was the recipient of many presents and was formally handed the key of the hou6e. Among those present were: Mesdames A. Cossey (Opaheke), Cole (Auckland), Stewart (Hunua), A. W. Mclvor (Drury), H. Blanch (Opaheke), H. Derbyshire (Drury), R. Cossey (Kaukapakapa), A. E. Cossey (Drury), L. Cossey (Auckland), Misses Cole (Auckland), Bray, J. Moore, May Wallis, Verna Cossey, Lorraine Cossey, Ailsa Cartwright and Sadie Donnell.
