PETER PAN.
Peter Pan presented a gay scene on Saturday evening when it was again crowded with dancers. Many parties were celebrated, amongst those being a welcome home from Australia by Desiree Hansen for Mrs. J. McDonald. Exhibition dances by Trevor and Dawn, Continental specialty dancers, were enthusiastically encored. Among those present were: Mrs. J. McDonald, who wore black glace taffeta, with blue sprays; Mrs. Catherine Thompson, sealing wax brocade; Mrs. Patterson, silver and black metal lace; Mrs. Haslett (Paeroa), brown tulle; Mrs. Hutton, blue ring velvet; Mrs. A. Neville, green georgette, beige lace; Miss Amber Somerville, floral taffeta; Miss Betty Bestic, apricot chiffon orchid spray; Miss Kay Poison, blue cloque, silver trimming; Miss M. Taylor, blue and gold lace; Miss Ola Norman, cJoth of gold; Miss Una Gardner, blue georgette, silver lame; Miss Muriel Johnson, brown taffeta; Miss Joyce Hardley, Chinese green cloque; Miss Bobby Strut®, midnight blue cire; Miss Desiree Hansen, midnight blue ring velvet; Miss Hazel Harrison, white taffeta, scarlet trimmings; Miss Joan Johnston, red satin; Miss L. Blackburn, red panne velvet; Miss Babs Markham, floral georgette; Miss Helen Brown, yellow taffeta; Miss Young, navy moire, silver lame; Miss Skelton, pink floral georgette; Miss Asher, black ring velvet; Miss Joan Tilley, pink lace; Miss Marie Anderson, black satin; Miss Helen Haslam, white satin; Miss Joan Parry, pink satin; Miss Ruth Lang, lemon satin; Miss M. JVass, plaid taffeta; Miss Brindle, brown and white diagonal taffeta.
