TAMAKI YACHT CLUB.

The last of the seasonal prize distributions of local yacht clubs takes place this evening when the Tamaki Yacht Club will hold its annual luncheon in the club house, Bastion Point. In common with other clubs the Tamaki suffered from unseasonable wenther once or twice during the season, but by combining events with* the Victoria Club were ablt to hold the usual number of races. All were well contested, and the prize list is a large one. 11l addition to the various club races the annual contest between the M-V class boats for the cup presented by Mrs. Harold Schmidt, will be presented. The winners, who receive miniatures, were Manene, Manu and Manaia. The annua] harbour race for three and four-foot model yachts for a cup presented by Mr. Ernest Davis, and won outright each year, was held off the clubhouse on Mav 9. The winner was Mr. A. Bell's Rhythm, and there are three other cash prizes, also prizes presented by Mr. A. R. Bevins, commodore of the Orakei Model Yacht Club, for first three and four-footers to finish. Mr. M. Willcttß' Sybila won tht four-foot and Rhythm the three-foot class. The C. G. Macindoe Cup for the V class, was won by Mischief after a close race in which 14 competed. The Ernest Davis Cup for the T and X class was won by Aileen, the Rennick Cup for the Y class by Muimal, the Harrop Cup for the W class by Waiwurrl, anil the Southland Cup for the Z class by Water Boetle. The annual rowing club fours race for the Nixon Cup was won by Waitemata, and the ladies' race bv the Mercer crew. The. prizes will be presented at 9.30 p.m. The club expects representatives from most of the sister clubs, and hopes that all winners will be present to receive their trophies.
