HONOURED IN LONDON.
(Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 28. Sir James Parr was the guest of honour at a luncheon at the Savoy, given by the staif of New Zealand House. Representatives of the produce, boards and shipping companies were also present to meet Mr. W. J. Jordan. "Term Expires." Sir James Parr, interviewed by the "Daily Herald," said: "I'm a tired man| I am at liberty to remain in office until January, but it suits me to retire now. I am anxious to return to New Zealand as soon as possible."
