N.Z. HIGH COMMISSIONER. CHANGE OVER ON MONDAY. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Sir James Parr, High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, will be relieved of his position at his own request on August 31, according to a statement made to-night by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage. The Prime Minister said the new High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, who arrived in London last week, would take over the office on September 1. One of the first duties Mr. Jordan would fulfil would be to attend the meeting of the League of Nations Assembly at Geneva. The new High Commissioner would be accompanied by Sir James Parr, who would remain in Geneva until the end of the Assembly.
