FRUIT PACKERS' CASE.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Arbitration Court to-day heard arguments in favour of a week of over 40 hours for storemen and packers employed by the fruit produce merchants throughout New Zealand, with the exception of Auckland, the Auckland cases being adjourned to a sitting of the CourJ there. An application for an extension of hours was made by Mr. W. E. Anderson.

After hearing evidence the Court reserved its decision.
