NATIONAL LEAGUE.

JUNIOR MEMBERS MEET. Mr. Cecil George, was elected president last night at the annual general meeting of the Auckland Junior National League. There was a good attendance. Plans for a drive for increased membership were made, and a comprehensive programme of debates, lectures, model Parliaments and social functions was drawn up. Already the league has several able speakers and it is expected that the work of the league will be as eiitcrtn.iniiig as it is instructive. A strong body of women helpers has banded together to make social functions a success. A dance will be held 011 Saturday night.
