ANNUAL BALL.
MASONIC INSTITUTE. ENJOYABLE FUNCTION AT PETER PAN. A colour scheme in warm autumn shades was a feature of the second annual ball given by the president and members of the Masonic Institute and Club in the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening. Bare windswept trees with
occasional autumn leaves were outlined against the central pillars, and the rich autumn colouring was also to lie seen in the masses of paper streamers suspended from the ceiling and in the softly-shaded lights. Tall stands of flowers in red and gold stood in corners of the cabaret, and the .Masonic square and compass and the greeting "Join all in Harmony" occupied a prominent position over the ballroom' floor. Iceland poppies, violets and other spring flowers iwere used to adorn the supper tables. An enjoyable exhibition of modern ballroom dancing was given by Miss Natalie Stratton and Mr. Mattliew Stratton.
