WOMEN'S DIVISION.
NEW BRANCH AT WAINTJI. A meeting of the Wainui ladies was convened by Mrs. R. Carter and lield at the residence of Mrs. Lamont, sen. Mis. R. Osbaldiston, the official organiser of the Waitemata Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, attended and addressed the ladies on forming a branch at Wainui. The _ following officers were elected: —President, Mrs. R. Carter; vice-presidents, Mrs. C. H. Sliaw and Mrs. A. Cutting; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. R. Norwood; advisory members of the bush nurse and housekeeper auxiliary, Mrs. R. Carter and Mrs. R. Norwood; committee, Mrs. E. Ryan, Mrs. T. B. Lamont and Mrs. R. Cossey. Through the courtesy of Mrs. T B Lamont the meetings will be held at her home. Mrs. T. B. Lamont showed a display of various fruits, also souvenirs from Samoa.
