AVONDALE TENNIS.
An enjoyable card afternoon was held in the Bowling Club's pavilion yesterday, in aid of the funds of the Avondale Tennis Club. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Yallop, Mrs. Gott, Mrs. Craddock, Mrs. Strong, Mrs. Meeks, Mrs. Buchanan, and Miss Potter. The prizewinners were Mrs. Tait. Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Priaulx. A competition was won by Mrs. Witham.
