SCOTTISH LOSE SHIELD.
WELLINGTON, Sunday.
After a liard-fought race over a 10 miles course the Brooklyn Harrier Club yesterday wrested the Volleler Shield from the Scottish Club, which lind held it for five consecutive years. Eight clubs with 127 runners competed. Result :— Brooklyn, 168 points, 1; Scottish, 181, 2 ; Olympic, 380, 3.
