BOXING.
TO-NIGHT'S AUCKLAND BOUTS. Four professional fighters are all keyed up for their two contests at the Town Hall to-night, and if gymnasium form, keenness to get to blows, and tlie will to win counts for anything at all there will be thrills aplenty. "Young" Delaney has concluded his training for his New Zealand debut against Neville Mudgway in fine fettle, and he is keen to show his wares in a new country, where lie hopes to emulate his performances in his home land, where he won his last 17 bouts in succession. Mudgway is also eager to meet and beat the Australian, as the win will probably mean another contest with Pluto, if not in Auckland in the South. He is in fine fighting condition, and confident that he can stop the Australian's run of successes. Lance Painter and Sid Wells, who are to provide the professional preliminary contest of eight rounds, are also in good 6hape, and both are keen to win and secure further contests w r hich are offering against Nicol and De Gans. With an excellent amateur programme in support of the two professional contests an outstanding programme is offered, and, as has been the case at all carnivals within the last six mouths, another packed house is expected.
