Nationalisation of Arms Bill Passes in France. GOVERNMENT'S BIG MAJORITY. (Received 12.30 p.m.) PARIS, July 17. The Chamber of Deputies passed the Nationalisation of Arms Bill by 484 votes to 85, the greatest majority for any of this Government's measures. M. Daladier explained that controlled enterprises would operate under revocable licences. Foreign companies would not l>e allowed to make war materials in France and orders from abroad could not be accepted without Government permission.
