ADDRESS TO Y.W.C.A.
The kindness aiid hospitality of the German people to strangers was emphasised by .Miss D. J. Spence in a most entertaining travel talk to the Y.W.C.A. Overseas Club, 011 Wednesday evening, when the social room was filled to its capacity. The Germans' intense love 01 home and all the beauty of the Christmas . season in Berlin were ably described, before the speaker painted a vivid picture of the white world of glistening snow fields and frozen tree tops to Moscow. The descriptions of this wonderful city and of the Red Square and Lenin's tomb were most impressive.
