PARENTS' CLUB.
All enjoyable bridge and 500 afternoon, organised by the Otahuhu Parents' Club, was held in the Kingsford Hall on Wednesday. Bowls of Iceland poppies and violets adorned the tables on which afternoon tea was served by the committee. The winners were: 500, Mrs. Ellerv; bridge, Mrs. R. Statliam. The club 'also held its fortnightly card evening in the bandroom, Park Road, where there was a good attendance. The ladies of the committee served supper, and the cards were supervised by -Mr. Dawson. ; The winners were Mrs. A. T. Wield and Mr. Lovich.
