NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
TO RUN FOR SIX 3>AYS. (By Telesrnph —Press Association.) <* PALMERSTON N., this day. The thirty-fourth annual National Dairy Show arranged by the ManawatuWes't Coast A. and P. Association was opened to-day. The weather was greatly improved after the heavy rain yesterday. In addition to a splendid display of dairy produce there are many novel exhibits. The show this year will extend to six days, concluding oil the King's Birthday.
Sir. J. M. Murdoch lias been re-elected chairman of the Haweva County Council. Mr. Murdoch has been a member of the council since l!)0(i and has been chairman since 1914 except for one period of nine months when he was on a holiday visit to England.
