RENEWED ANXIETY AROUSED IN DANZIG.
NAZI KILLED. Sequel to Clash by Opposing Factions. UGLY FEELING SHOWN. United Press Association. —Copyright. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 14. The "Daily Telegraph" Danzig correspondent says that anxiety is growing after the death of a Nazi during a light when the Nazis attempted to break up an opposition political meeting in which over 50 were injured. Herr Foerrster, Nazi leader, and the virtual political dictator of Danzig, issued a proclamation blaming the opposition leaders, "whom I am obliged to tolerate under international statute." He added, speaking as though Germany's might is behind him, that he will not permit the Germans in Danzig to be stirred up by these corruptors of the people. "Our Fuehrer will not be insulted. AVe will ruthlessly oppose the opposition terrorism and will not allow ourselves to be attacked. Our men who are fighting for honest aims, high ideals and a great free Germany, are more valuable than those treacherous subversive agitators who have no Fatherland." The opposition points out that they cannot have established terror as the Nazis possess all power and also control the police and own the uniformed organisations.
