SEEKING FRIENDSHIP.
JAPAN WITH BRITAIN. "TOKYO, June 14. Maintenance of the traditional friendship between Japan and Britain was the watchword given to Mr. Shigeru Yoshida, the newly-appointed Ambassador to Britain, before he left for London. In order to end certain misunderstandings, says the "Asahi Shimbun," Mr. Yoshida will have conversation's with the British authorities. These will centre upon the "non-existence of Japan's territorial ambition."
