LADY BOWLERS.
FUNCTION AT EDENDALE. The Edendale Ladies' Bowling Club wound lip tlie 193ii-3G season With a rinks t6umament last week. The winners were Mrs. fl. Hill, Mrs. Sutherland, Mrs. Everett and Mrs. Boles. There was a good muster of members, three full rinks being engaged, and a most enjoyable aftei'lloon was spent. At the afternoon tea adjournment speeches were given by the president, Mrs. Gibson, who paid tribute to the way the ladies liad progressed with the gatne. A greater membership and keener howling was anticipated for the next season. Mrs. Loplev, vice-president, made a few remarks regarding the splendid work that had been accomplished, and especially of the fine co-operation shown throughout the season. Mrs. Mills, in thanking the executive for the creditable way that the business of the club had been carried out, made special referr once to Mrs. Niinmo, lion, secretary, for tile way she had carried out her duties. Mrs. Harris, president of tile Indoor Bowlitig Association, congratulated the ladies on their great success as a bowling unit, and promised to assist in every way possible. Air. Black, patron of the Edendale Bowling Club, also spoke.
