OPENING DANCE.

LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN.

The Legion of Frontiersmen held the first of their series of fortnightly dances on Saturday night in their rooms. Streamers in green and blown, the A squadron colours,.adorned the hall, and the walls were hung with flags of all nations. The officer in charge of tli-J social activities, Mr. W. K. Francis, received the guests and Mr. Fred Wilson was in chajge of the floor arrangements. Buckley, turquoise blue crinkle crepe; Mrs. R. Daverne, dusky pink crinkle crepe; Mrs. 15. Budd, black crepe de chine; Mrs. P. McLelian, black figured crepe; Mrs. W. C. MeC'ombe, black Chantilly lace; Mrs. R. It. Brazil, powder blue georgette; Airs. R. Haunken, black souple Satin aitd georgette; Mrs. P. McCarthy, birch green crepe sttedfe; Airs. L.
