STOLE SIX POUNDS.

THEFT FROM EMPLOYER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. A plea of guilty was entered by Cornelius William Johnson, when he was charged in the Police Court yesterday with the theft of £0, the property of a restaurant proprietor. Sergeant Daly said accused occasionally assisted in the restaurant. He stole the money early on Christmas morning before business was completed. Accused was fined £5, in default one month's imprisonment.
