MECHANIC INJURED.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Friday. Picked up on the Great South Road near Huntlv this morning. Mervyn Woolven. a motor mechanic, of Hamuton, was admitted to the Waikato Hospital shortly before noon suffering from concussion. It is understood that Woolven was driving a car from Hamilton to Auckland which collided with a I telegraph pole. His condition is not ' re/tanied -as. serious.
