THREE BIG PRIZES TO N.Z. BAECEUTHA GETS £12,000. Next week Father Christmas will be a most welcome caller to the house of "Xmas Box," c/o Mrs. G. G. , Balclutlia, way down South.
Some fortunate person using this very appropriate nom de plume for ticket No. 92000 has won the first prize of £12,000 net in Tattersalls 39th £12,000 Consultation. According to the result sheet just to hand New Zealand's luck and good fortune in these overseas lotteries has been well maintained, for in addition to tlie £12.000 prize going to Balclutha, the third prize of £1200 goes to "By Cripes, Dad," c/o' J. M. , Napier, and the fourth prize of £1000 to "We Three," c/o W. R. , Nelson. "Three Mugs," c/o Mrs. 11. , Dnnodiri, won the seventh prize of £250.
Unlike the nom de plume favoured by the seventh prizewinner, the other three bigger prizewinners were not "Three Mugs." "By Cripes, Dad," it was a good ''Xmas Box" for "We Three," all right.
