LEYS INSTITUTE.
END-OF-SEASON DISPLAY. The end-of-season display of boxing, and wrestling was given last evening in the Leys Institute by the institute's amateur boxing and wrestling club. Two matches, of three one-minute rounds each, and five matches of three two-minute rounds, comprised the boxing portion. The following were matched: —D. Brown v. A. Taylor, R. Brown v. A. Hogg, H. Gordon v. J. Rowlands, H. Neale v. J. Broadfoot, G. Gordon v, S. Stock, P. Kelly v. R. Wilson, D. Johnson v. E. Estall. Wrestling bouts were staged between J. Leslie and G. Frazer, B. Tupp and R. McDonald, C. Anderson and L. Holland, C. Frazer and H. Roberts, N._Way and L. Kenneth. An exhibition of weight-lifting was given between the boxing and wrestling sections of the programme.
