TAKAPUNA GUN CLUB. I? Weal conditions the Takapuna Gun Club held its monthly clay-bird shoot Barry s Point ou Saturday. Results: Seven-bird Eye-opener Sweep. —a. J. Hannigan (16yds) won outright the first sweep money with the possible of seven birds. F. Kay-Stratton (18yds), R. H. Bartley (X7yds) and R. Knight (13yds) divided second money with six breaks each y?- J 5 ; Tarry, M.p (12yds), W. Grant (16yds) and R. L. Baxter (14yds) shot five birds each. Seven-bird Handicap. — A. J. Hannigan (16yds) and W. E. Grant (16yds) divided the sweepstake with six breaks each. E H. Bartley (17yds) was second with five breaks. 15-Bird Match.—From a good field R. H. Bartley (17yds) shot 13 birds and won outright the first sweep money and trophy. W. E. Parry, M.P. (12.vds) was runner-up with 12 birds. A tricky wind and glaring light made it difficult for getting a "bead" on the clay targets in this match. Second Seven-bird Handicap. —h. F. Ramsey (21yds), A. J. Hannigan (16yds) and It. H. Bartley (17yds) all tied with five birds each. In the shoot-off for the sweep money A. J. Hannigan won on the ninth bird. The next trophy shoot is to be held on Saturday, November 0. HUNTLY GUN CLUB. A clay pigeon shoot was held by the Huntly Gnu Club, weather conditions'being good. The main event was a £10 open handicap, in which there were 16 entries. Shooters were present from Ngaruawahia, Hamilton and Cambridge. Results:— Gimcrack, six birds.—lt. Crosbie (Cambridge), 8-18 yds, and 11. Sadersten (Ngaruawahia), 8-18 yds, were the only shooters to get all their birds, and divided the sweepstake. Trophy Shoot, nine birds.—T. James (20yds) 9 birds, I. Kosoof (20yds), .T. Foote (15yds), 8 birds each ; H. Sadersten (18yds), I-I. Perry (20yds), 7 birds each. Walk-up shoot of five birds.—N. Saunders, 5 birds; J. Ralph, G. Kosoof, 4 birds each. £10 Open Handicap.—Divided by N. Bossad, IT. Billington, T. James, 15 birds. Other scorerfe: J. Ralph, N. Saunders, 14; R. Clinch, H. Meyer. 11. Perry, H. Sandersten, A. Berry, 13. First Miss-and-out.—Won by N. Bossad (21yds) from G. Kosoof (17yds) on the fourteenth round. Double Rise, three pairs.—G. Kosoof (15yds), N. Saunders (12yds), 5 birds each. In the shoot-off G. Kosoof proved the winner and won the trophy donated by Mr. R. Warren. KEREPEEHI CLUB. The Kerepeelii Gun Club held a shoot on Saturday last, there being 14 or 15 competitors in each event. The chief trophy was won by A. Stone, who hit 14 of the 15 birds. In a nine-bird sweepstake J. Darlington, G. Tuke, A. Stone, S. Davio and F Davie each hit seven and divided the prize money. A gimcrack sweepstake was won by G. Tuke.
