BRIDGE EVENING.
Mrs. H. Bull, of Puketutu Island, gave a riiost enjoyable bridge evening at her beautiful home, in aid of Mangere Women's Division of the Farmers' Union. The great log fires and bowls of spring flowers made the room cosy and contributed to the festive atmosphere. Mrs. Bull received the guests in a black lace frock. Those present included: Mesdames V. Th'ew, Abbott, S. Thome George, Lawford, C. Lawford, E/ V. Sutherland, C. Robinson, L. Jones, A. Trayes, T. House, Henwood, 11. Elliott, John Sinclair, T. Sinclair, Tyler, G. Jowsey, T. Davidson, P. Savate, Horton, G. Bloomfield (Gisborne), A. McArthur, A. Wells, E. W. Colebrook, M. Shroff, Misses Sinclair, Johnson, Savate, Thome George, Horton, M. Paul, B. Blomfield and Manketclow.
