SURREY TENNIS CLUB.
Under ideal weather conditions the Surrey Tennis Club opened its third season, a large number of members and friends being present. The president, Mr. T. Walker, welcomed the members old and new, also their, friends and visitors from various clubs. The courts were then declared open, Mrs. T. Walker serving the first ball. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the ladies' committee. In the evening a dance was held, which was largely attended by members and their friends. The music supplied by Miss J. Power was much appreciated, Mr. J. Marctt acting as master of ceremonies. Monte Carlos were won by Mr. G. Howard and partner and Mr. J. Mayson and partner. Supper arrangements were in the hands of the social committee.
