AVONDALE COURSE.

SEVERAL HORSES SPRINT. The -weather was fine for training at Avondalo this morning. The course proper, 40ft out from the rails, was available, but the going was a bit on the dead aide. Star Artist and J>u Barry finished together after traversing three furlongs in 425. Royal Dance, after covering two furlongs in 20 2tDs, completed six furlongs in 1.19 3-5. lie worked well. Spearmarch ran five furlongs in 1.14. Queen's Counsel and Light Comedy went three furlongs comfortably. Con Fuoco traversed five furlongs iii 1.8 2-5. Triune, Velocipede and Master Norval were sent six furlongs. Triune was in front for most of the way, but the other pair were with him at the finish. They ran the first two furlongs in 26 4-ss, and the full distance in 1.20 1-5. Triune was ridden out. A number of others did useful work.
