LYCEUM CLUB.

OPEN BRIDGE EVENING. The first open bridge evening for the season was held at the Lyceum Club this week. The floral decorations in the lounge were japonica and palms. On arrival the guests . were welcomed by Mrs. W. H. Parkes, president of the club. Among those present were:—Meadaines J. W. Nutter (convener), St. Clair Woollams (hon. secretary), L. T. Rapson, Kays, E. Smythe, Pilkington, Arnoldson, Leys, James, Mitchell, Bridgeman, H. Bray, E. Carter, Miller, Macara, Seaman, Haggar, Fogerty, Young, Dickie, Owen, Dr. Rowley; Misses A. White, Williams, Connolly, Pearce, Wilson. The prizes were won by Miss Sisley; the convener's prize, Mr. George Sykes; hidden number, Mrs. J. Moir.
