SELECTOR RESIGNS.
Mr. E. McKenzie's Protest Against Loss of Rep. Gear. (li.v Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") MASTKRTON. this day. At a meeting of the management committee of the Wairarapa Btlgby Union last niglit. Mr. K. McKenzie (All Black selector) resigned as sole selector of the Wairarapa senior representative tea m. The committee accepted the resignation with regret, and Mr. Quentin Donald, of the 1!>"24 All Blacks, was appointed to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the• season. Mr. McKenzie's action result of some person. unknown, having caused the disappearance of ten representative jersey*, four pairs of socks, and two pairs of knickers from the representative football gear bag on the journey or t*ie Wairarapa team between Kketalmna and Masterton this week. His action was a protest against that sort of thing. Mr. McKenzie has been sole selector for a long period of years. He has on odd occasions acted as sole senior selector iu Wairarapa.
