ENJOYABLE FUNCTION HELD
The combined branches of the Post and Telegraph Department held a very successful staff dance in the Society of Arts Hall, Kitchener Street, on Saturday evening, the Excelsior Dance Band providing the music. Brown, black georgette; Mrs. L. Jones, blue satin beautc; Mrs. Tyler, blue crepe suede; Mrs. H. Hedgeman, violet velvet with black fur cape; Mrs. Brooking, tomato georgette; Mrs. H. C. George, black corded satin; Miss M. Laurance, beige lace and blue velvet; Miss E. Proud, apricot satirf with diamantes; Miss J. Tyler, black taffeta and silver lace; Miss L. Tyler, blue taffeta; Miss M. Hounsell, shell pink georgette; Miss Z. Mclvor, apricot.georgette; Miss B. Banks, black lace and georgette; Miss E. Eddowes, eau de nil embossed georgette; Miss E. Spencer, pink marocain; Miss J. Graham, Marina blue lace; Miss P. Haslett, rose satin and sequin trimming; Miss G. Mcdcnnott, jubilee blue angel crepo and lace; Miss L. Tester, Marina blue crepo suede. The Monte Carlo was won by Miss E. Eddowes and Mr. L. Macey.
