"ROYAL LANDAU."
USE IN ROTORUA CARNIVAL JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Tuesday. An interesting feature of the King's jubilee procession in Rotorua, will be the use of the landau in which the King and Queen drove when they visited Rotorua in 1901, as Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York. The celebrations here will include a procession through the town in which territorials, returned soldiers, High School cadets and girls, scouts and girl guides, Maori representatives and private cars will participate, a children's sports meeting in the Government Grounds, a big fireworks display on the lake shore in the evening, and a special jubilee dance at which prizes will be offered for the best costumes of the 1910 period.
