LONDON DELEGATION. MR. COATES' HANDS FULL PRIME MINISTER'S REGRET. (Ky Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCII, this clay. Referring to rumours that the Minister of Finance, Mr. Coatee", might accompany him to England this year, the Prime Minister, Mr. Forbes, said in the course of an interview that it was very unlikely at present, as Mr. Coates had his hands full dealing with the Mortgage Bill. Mr. Forbes added that he regretted he would not have the benefit of Mr. Coates , advice on matters concerning meat agreements. However, he would be assisted in London by the High Commissioner and members of the Meat Board. It wae essential that some agreement be reached soon. The Prime Minister expressed the belief that .when the Australian delegation arrived in London matters would be accelerated, and there might be a possibility of a long-term agreement being made before he Jeft the Dominion.
