CHRISTCHURCH OPERATIONS. (By Telegraph.-—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. As usual on Saturday, there "was little activity on the Ohristclmrch Stock Exchange this morning, and comparatively little business was put through. ]n Government stocks) there was no change, buyers being still on hand at yesterday's quotations. Banks likewise showed little alteration, buyers being rpady for any available concessions. Bank of New Zealand shares were steady at between 48/3 and 48/10. In insurances the only inquiry was for Nationals at 19/1. Beaths shares were demanded at ,'32/6.for ordinary, and 10/6 for 1/ paid, ccinpared with a recent Rale of the latter tit 9/9. Kaiapoi Woollen Company, after yesterday's sale at 11/3, had sellers Id lower. Timai-u Breweries were quoted higher, between 9/2 and 9/6. In mining shares lung Solomons were quoted at between 3/3 and 3/6. Bipt Rivers improved with buyers at 1/2, and holders asking 1/5-
