FALSE PRETENCE CHARGE.
MANUFACTURER REMANDED.
A manufacturer, John James Woolcock, aged 32, appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court thi.-j morning, charged, on April 20. with obtaining £100 from James Walter Hammond Maddock by falsely representing that machinery, stock and chattels of the value of £100, were his own property. On the application of Senior Detective Hall accused was remanded until July 5.
