BRIDGE PARTIES.
The reception hall of the Farmers' Trading Company was brightly arranged with Iceland poppies and foliage yesterday afternoon, when Mrs. G. E. Fox, and Mrs. H. F. Twigdcn, entertained their guests at progressive bridge. Among those present were: Mesdames M. G. McArthur, M. Rout, L. H. Tancred, Leith Napier, J. Conlan, Adkins, Martelli, A. B. Bullock, H. G. Mills, Rudman, Bourne, MeCormick, Taine, Reg Griffiths, R. E. Taylor, G. H. Will, Robertson, Lewisham, Lees, Stewart, A. Cerrnty, Duncan, Home, Maitland, Bowie, Henderson, MacKenzie, Wilson, Aetley, Paplin, Rudd, M. C. Spedding, Misses Allen, T. Allan, D. Fenwick.
Mrs. E. C. Montgorncrie was hostess at the Farmers' Trading Company yesterday when a number of friends were entertained at bridge and afternoon tea. The tables were arranged in lemon and golden Iceland poppies. Among those present were: Mcsdames H. Ellett, L. Jones, J. Kirkland, M. Ronnie, Reynolds, Speakman, T. Purdom, Western, K. Montgomerie, F. Jones, Shortt, W. Paul, Pegler, Gow, Steele, 11. Wallace, Crumden, Cox, Laing, Thompson, Misses Montgomerie and Rennie.
