W.C.T.U.

Tho Takapuna branch of the W.C.T.U. held its first meeting for the year on Thursday last, in the Presbyterian Schoolroom. There was a fair attendance of members. Mrs. Winstone, president, was in the chair, and gave a talk on the forthcoming convention to be held in Wellington next week. Mesdames Davis and Lewis were appointed delegates to the convention. Afternoon tea was served by tho social committee.
