Baby Girl Born With Tail Two Inches Long. "THROW-BACK" TO THE APE? (Ucccivcd 11 a.m.) LONDON, January 31. " Eminent doctors are visiting the Metropolitan Hospital, where a baby girl, a fortnight old, has a tail two inches long. One pathologist believes that the child is a throw-back to our ape ancestors. Others are of opinion that the unusual feature is due. to an association of ideas in the mother's mind during pregnancy.
