PONSONBY NIGHT TOURNEY. The Ponsonby Bowling Club's eighth night tourney, a pairs event, was held last evening. Results:— First Round.—Shaw, Teague (Grey Lynn) 7, v. CARLTON CLUB. A full rink tournament for members only was held on Anniversary Day, twentytwo teams taking part. It was played in three sections.

Winners of section A were Harinan, Brownlee, Wetherilt, Mason. Section B was won by K. Cooke, Montgomery, Stokes, Gordon. .Section C winners were Walker, Doyle, Dillicar, Wrigh'tscrn. In the semi-final, Mason's team won from Gordon's. The final between Mason's rink and VVriHhtsou's rink will be played on Saturday next.

MOUNT ALBERT CLUB. In a pairs tournament held on Anniversary Day. Bennett, Hlnir and Wiltshire, J. Thomas tied with four wins, one loan. In the play off Blair defeated Thomas.

MORRINSVILLE CLUB. In spite of heavy showers in Monday morning tlip Morrinuvtlle Bowling Club was able to hold its annual Anniversary Day tournament later in the day. The tournament was won by a Claudelands rink consisting of Webber, Bagley, Carter, Fruish. with four wins and n loss. They scored on the aggregate by 102 to 72 from a Morrinsville rink consisting of Shirley, Meharry, Iletlieringtoii, Butler, whicli secured nn equal number of wins. L, Huehan, To Aroha, also with four wins, was three points behind Butler on the aggregate.

WHANGAREI CLUB. The Whangarel Bowling Club's annual full-rink tournninent was continued yesterday in showery weather. A two hours' adjournment was made owing to the heavy rain and in the afternoon heavy showers foil. The first game consisted of 21 heads and the two renin ining games were reduced to 15 heads. The seventh round will be played to-dny In sections B and C to determine the winners. In section A Piggott'R (earn won outright with six wins. Yesterday's results :—
