SAMOA MANDATE.

Sir T. Wilford's Last Appearance Before Commission. THANKED AT GENEVA. (Received 10.30 a.m.) GENEVA, November 1. The Mandates Commission examined Sir Thomas Wilford on the Samoan mandate report, which showed an excellent financial position. The president thanked Sir Thomas, who was making his last appearance before the commission before retiring from the High Commissionership, for the assistance he had always given. Sir Thomas Wilford's term of office as High Commissioner will expire at the beginning of next year.
