HALLYBURTON JOHNSTONE CLUB.
The ITallyburton Johnstone Bowling Club was opened this afternoon by the president, Mr. F. Brecken. There was a large attendance of members and visitors and the lirst jack was thrown by Mrs. Brecken. A number of friendly matches were played, which resulted: Dugan 16, v. Boag 20; Thomas 21, v. Hollows 23; King 25. v. Chambers 33; Neilson 24, v. White 21; Lucas 24, v. Taylor 18; Tapling 18, v. Bromley 20; Brecken IS, v. Schnackenberg IS.
